Everyone in Sheffield is talking about Jamie!

Following on from smash hit musical "Everyone is talking about Jamie" Film4 are making a film of the story,being made in and around Sheffield.

These pictures show Oscar winner Richard E Grant filming in make up ,with dazzling earrings. Two of my images made Daily Mail Online in a feature about the filming.

BBC Drama filming in Scarborough

All the fun of the fair for two well known celebrities as a BBC drama called "Scarborough" was filming in the town. Catherine Tyldesley(Eva in Coronation Street)and comedian Jason Manford play a romantic couple with a love of Karaoke.
The drama took over the funfair in the town centre for an afternoon.

Pictures were sold exclusively to Sunday Mirror and got a big useage as you can see.

Green Day Live at Leeds Arena

American rock band Green Day opened up their UK Radio Revolution tour at Leeds Arena West Yorkshire.

Waterloo!!

So UK media has been Battle of Waterloo crazy this week,with it been 200th Anniversary of said event. Royal Armories Msueum were holding events as you'd expect and they kindly allowed me to do some press photographs of the event the live event with stunt riders and "action horses" .

Eclipse.

The UK went Eclipse crazy recently for the partial eclipse,which was almost a non event thanks to the typical British weather,as cloud covered the skies.
Photographers everywhere were seeking out spots to get a good view of the is event I chose Castle Hill on outskirts of Huddersfield,due to it being highest spot in the region. There was a great atmosphere,the car park was overflowing ,people had little picnics and in the end the view wasnt too bad.

Death Comes to Pemberly-via Yorkshire

Photographs from set of new costume Drama to air at Christmas "Death Comes To Pemberly" starring Doctor Who assistant Jenna Louise Coleman,Matthew Rhys and other luvvies. Crew took over St Williams College in York and transformed it into 19th Century England. Jenna Louise Coleman was on a break from filming Dr Who(which is in the headlines itself) as they announce the 12th Doctor to be cast. Filming continue in the region for a week until Jenna returns to space travel.

Manchester United League Champions Parade

The end of football season,and the end of Alex Ferguson's managerial career and possibly the end of Wayne Rooney's time at Man Utd. The City of Manchester turned back to red this year after Man city's win of title last year as thousands of fans blocked the streets and roads to witness the parade.
